What we do…

The Ladies Auxiliary was established to provide support to our firefighters in their pursuit of providing superior fire and rescue protection to the residents of the Dickinson Rural Fire District.  We do this through activities supporting the financial, public service, and response needs of the Dickinson Rural Fire Department.  When the firefighters are involved in an extended fire or other incidents, we will provide a meal and refreshments on scene or at the Fire Hall when they return.  House fire victims are presented with a gift card and a fleece blanket embroidered with the Auxiliary logo.  Each year we also host a Fundraising Breakfast and Bake Sale at St. Anthony’s Club.

Membership…

Any spouse of an active or associate member of the DRFD in good standing is eligible to join the Ladies Auxiliary.  Members of the Auxiliary must be 21 years of age or older.   Meetings are held at 7 pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the South Fire Hall.  Annual Dues of $1.00 are to be paid at the January meeting.  Currently we have 15 members and welcome new members to support our firefighters and the community.
